Why it works
Grass‑fed tallow contains fatty acids similar to those naturally present in healthy skin. These lipids help support hydration, strengthen the skin barrier and reduce moisture loss.
Rose hip oil is naturally high in linoleic acid and lower in oleic acid, helping balance the rich protective nature of tallow. This improves absorption while supporting skin comfort and clarity.
Together these ingredients create a lipid structure comparable to the skin’s natural barrier fats such as ceramides and protective lipids.
Beeswax helps seal hydration while allowing the skin to breathe.

Our tallow is carefully purified so despite containing a high percentage of tallow the balm does not smell of beef.
Rosehip oil helps carry the tallow into the skin improving absorption and reducing surface heaviness.

Use
Apply a small amount and massage into skin until absorbed. A little goes a long way.
Storage
Because we use no stabilisers or emulsifiers, texture may vary with temperature. This is normal for natural formulations and does not affect performance.

It’s very soothing and no scent is noticeable, and it’s a convenient size for on the go, my only change would be to make the texture more spreadable, hence 4 stars instead of 5.

Brilliant for barrier repair. The texture is very pleasant thanks to the rosehip and beeswax. Most importantly no beef smell whatsoever. It sits beautifully under makeup and also use it at night after tretinoin to avoid peeling next day.

I absolutely love this balm. I use it for face and hands mainly. I have ditched face cream totally now. I have also had a great result with using on a scar on my daughter’s face. After 3 weeks of use the scar is un noticable. I shall continue use and I’m guessing it will totally disappear.
