What makes Hayes Meadow skincare different?
Every product we make is handcrafted on our farm in England using traditional methods and the finest natural ingredients. Our core ingredient is our local organic high welfare tallow. Rich in vitamins, deeply nourishing and beautifully compatible with the skin’s own natural oils. We pair this with certified organic, high-welfare ingredients and essential oils to create products that are pure, gentle, and effective. No chemicals. No shortcuts. No outsourcing, Just pure care.
What is tallow, and why do you use it?
Tallow is a traditional, time-honoured ingredient. Ours is made by carefully rendering suet fat from local native grass-fed, high-welfare animals. It’s naturally rich in nutrients and closely matches our skin’s biology, helping to soothe dryness, repair the skin barrier, and lock in moisture. At Hayes Meadow Organic, we see tallow as a way to work in harmony with nature — using every part of what the land provides, responsibly and respectfully.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our tallow-based skincare is naturally gentle and free from synthetic fragrances, parabens, or preservatives. Many of our customers with sensitive or eczema-prone skin find our products calming and restorative. If you prefer to avoid essential oils entirely, we offer unscented versions of our balms and lip care.
Can I customise a gift box?
Absolutely. Our gift boxes are fully customisable, allowing you to create a thoughtful set for anyone on your list — or for yourself.
Small Gift Box: includes a handmade soap bar and a nourishing lip balm (available in vanilla, sweet orange, or unscented).
Large Gift Box: includes your choice of a face balm stick, a full-size hair, face & body soap bar, and a 50ml pot of our signature day and night, face and body balm.
Every item is handmade, packed with care, and ready to gift.
Do you use sustainable and ethical ingredients?
Yes — it’s at the heart of everything we do. We are independently inspected and certified Organic, High Welfare 100% Grass Fed, Non GMO. We use certified organic botanicals, high-welfare tallow, and plastic-free, recyclable packaging wherever possible. Our approach to skincare honours the environment and the animals that sustain it.
How are your products packaged for gifting?
Each gift set is beautifully presented in a fully illustrated colour Hayes Meadow gift box. A personalised gift note can be added at checkout if you wish. Our presentation is simple, elegant, and eco-friendly — no unnecessary plastic or filler, just thoughtful detail.
Do you offer Christmas gift options?
To make Christmas gifting easy, we also offer direct delivery to your recipient, with the option to include a personal message inside the box. We recommend placing Christmas orders by the 17th of December to ensure your gift arrives in time. All our products are made and packed by hand, so early ordering helps us deliver with care.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship our Tallow & Skincare products worldwide with full tracking. You can also pay in your own currency; available options are displayed automatically at checkout after you enter your address.
We ship Ex Works (DDU) — this means it’s the customer’s responsibility to pay any customs charges, duties, or taxes required by your country. These may need to be settled once your order arrives and before your local courier can deliver. You’ll receive tracking information to help you monitor your parcel, and your courier will contact you directly if any payments are due.
