Built For Skin That Faces Real Conditions
Our skincare is designed for skin that doesn’t live in ideal environments.
It’s made for:
- Dry, exposed skin
- Cold air, wind and changing weather
- Frequent washing and daily use
- Supporting and restoring the skin barrier
Simple, effective formulations that hold up under real life.
Where It Comes From
We’re Graham and Jocelyn, and Hayes Meadow is where our products are put to the test, every day.
Hayes Meadow didn’t begin as a skincare brand. This isn’t skincare created in a lab or designed around trends.
It’s developed through real exposure to ‘all weather’ out door work, cold mornings and long days in the elements.
Because when something works here, it works anywhere.
It began as a working farm, where exposure to weather, work and environment is part of everyday life. Graham’s parents built the farm on organic principles, raising cattle with care and working with the land, not against it.
We’ve carried that forward — not by changing it, but by extending it.
Today, everything we make still starts here:
• The same fields
• The same herd
• The same commitment to quality and traceability

Formulated Through Use, Not Theory
IIn 2018, we began selling our own grass-fed beef directly to customers through a small on-farm butchery.
Working outdoors, in all conditions, we experienced firsthand what most skincare doesn’t address:
- Dry, exposed skin
- Repeated washing and weather stress
- The need for something simple that actually works
So we turned to what we already had: Beef Tallow. A traditional, nutrient-dense fat which became the foundation of our formulations. Not as a trend, but as a practical solution.
Why Tallow Works
Tallow closely mirrors the skin’s natural oils. It’s rich in vitamins A, D, E and K, and contains essential fatty acids that support the skin barrier. But more importantly it works under challenging conditions. We don’t formulate for ideal environments. We formulate for:
- cold air
- wind exposure
- daily wear and reapplication
- skin that needs to recover, not just feel soft
Blended with carefully selected botanicals like rosehip oil, our formulations absorb deeply, support hydration, and help restore resilience.
From Farm to Skin
Our process is simple and deliberate.
We:
- raise our cattle on our organic, grass-fed farm
- render and purify the tallow ourselves
- formulate and produce on-site
No outsourcing. No unnecessary processing.
This gives complete traceability from pasture to product and allows us to retain the full nutritional profile of the tallow. We purify. We don’t refine.
Regeneration in Practice
Our farm follows regenerative principles:
- rotational grazing
- species-rich pasture
- no grain feeding or chemical inputs
This improves:
- soil health
- biodiversity
- animal welfare
And ultimately, the quality of what we produce. Because better inputs create better outcomes — for both food and skin.

Why This Matters
Most skincare is built around marketing. Ours is built around use.
That means:
- no unnecessary ingredients
- no over-complication
- no disconnect between product and environment
Just simple, effective formulations that hold up under real conditions.
A Different Approach to Skincare
We don’t separate farming from skincare. They are the same system.
What we raise, we use.
What we use, we test.
What works, we share.
That’s what we mean by: Tested by Nature
In Summary
Hayes Meadow is a working farm first. Our skincare is an extension of that — developed through use, grounded in tradition, and proven through real exposure. From soil to skin, everything is connected.
